Architecture as a Story: Constructed Environment
Representational Work
Within the realm of representation is the question of what representations protect and what they reveal. Each drawing type states certain values, supporting particular relations while precluding others. Drawings are not benign—they are politically and practically charged, emphasizing certain things and not others, sustained by deeply structured histories and practices. This project focused on formal and material expansion to build a possible world, using found or appropriated images. All objects tell a story and I have sought to communicate this craft through the imagery and richness of the materials.
